[ProgSoc] ESound etc

ok, so now I've got my crappy machine, that I'm using with XDMCP and setting
up a juke box.

Now, why can't I play music on the machine, with programs running across the
network?
(that's not really important, I was just curious)

The big thing is, I want to log into a remote machine, play music on it,
and have it come out of the terminals sound card.

esound doesn't seem to work, (or it could be ogg123)... I can play music
with it locally, but ogg123 "can't" connect to it if it's not the localhost.
(I think that's esounds fault)

I've tried the -public -port 999 etc.

Is there something I'm overlooking with esound, or are their good
alternatives?

J.
