Yes, I think you can, actually.
All you have to do is configure the BIOS to run the memory at 100MHz
(PC100). The only thing you can't change on the RAM is the latency
cycle: If the RAM was originally CAS3, you can't make it CAS2 at 100MHz
for instance.
