[ProgSoc] DVD Decoder for Toshiba Laptop

All,

I've been given this funky Toshiba Satellite laptop by work, with a DVD
drive.  So, I stuck a DVD in it to see what would happen, and it reckons I
need a DVD software/hardware decoder.

Asking the systems admin was a waste of time, so any suggestions?
