Preferred number of kbps? (was Re: [ProgSoc] member of the year -ftoomsh)

Eh?  No, "Jagwire".  Or "Jagwyre", as the press are now calling it  ;)

I've got it booting now.  Compressed some MP4 files today.

Hey everyone -- general question, polling the masses -- what's your
favourite size for bandwidth (in kilobits per second, kbps) when
downloading video clips?  Say, of 1 to 5 minutes in length?

I ask, because modem users don't always want modem size (prefer to wait
for higher quality), and DSL or cable users have maximum bandwidth that's
all over the place, from 128kbps up to a megabit per second;  and also
you need to consider any specific link performance to ftoomsh.
