[SLUG] Executing M$ / Macs Apps remotely

Dear List,

I am trying to use XDM or something else to run remotely hosted apps.

1. Has anyone used VMware / Win4lin  to run M$ apps remotely similar to M$ 
Terminal Server?

2. Has anyone used  VNC  to control a remote desktop  / apps under Xwindows.

I trying  to create a centrally control *nix environment but need run Doze 
apps occasionally.
